About Your Role

Join us as a Mechanical Equipment Repair Technician during the evening shift, where your expertise will guide preventive and urgent maintenance operations. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., offering $32.00/hour plus extras for your dedication and expertise.

What You'll Accomplish

• Initiate and prepare production machinery setups for scheduled runs
• Collaborate with machine operators to diagnose and resolve operational glitches
• Use technical guides for documentation and maintain repair accuracy
• Perform key repairs for optimum machinery performance
• Lead major equipment overhauls
• Perform ongoing equipment maintenance checks
• Propose and undertake approved machinery upgrades
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines
• Respond to shift coverage needs
• Function independently and within team-based setups
• Handle additional tasks as instructed

Your Background

• Over 4 years in mechanical roles within swift-moving packaging or manufacturing sectors, preferably foods
• Capable of effective verbal and written interaction
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
• Flexible approach to handling various shifts
• Proven ability in managing fast-paced, evolving environments
• Comprehensive grasp of health and safety compliance
• Experience with computerized management software is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
• Team-centric with adept problem-solving skills

Physical Workload

• Proficiency in managing moderate physical demands
• Successful completion of the primary job functions, with accommodations if necessary
