Role Overview


Sodexo at the corporate account USAA in Colorado Springs, Co is #Hiring our Executive Chef for Monday through Friday days shift (5am-2pm) Our successful candidate will excel at inventory management, computer skills, and ordering compliance, have the ability to follow corporate recipes with a strong understanding of food allergen and have a demonstrated history of maintaining great customer service survey scores with the ability to rally the team and have a good rapport with our corporate customers. This role will lead 70% hands on cooking and training our very cohesive team, and 30% administrative responsibilities online.

What You'll Do


  • Manage daily cafe production and catering including buffet, plated, stations and boxed lunches
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • Provide excellent customer service to our high-profile clients and customers
  • Manage our very cohesive team with compassion and a focus on professional development
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, cost analysis and production forecasting
  • Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
  • Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations

Qualifications & Requirements


Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
