Hours: 40 hours/week- Full Time
Status: Full Year
Locations: Madison, WI - Different locations include Great Beginnings Arbor Hills, East Madison, South Madison, and Wee Start
Pay: $22.65 to 25.10 an hour depending on education
Qualifications:
Infant Toddler Credential/CDA or
Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 18 ECE credits
Strong ability to apply Early Childhood Development theory
Excellent communication and listening skills
Experience in multicultural, diverse environments preferred
Ability to obtain Registry Certificate within 90 days

Role Overview:
The Early Head Start Teacher will create a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 0-3, implementing a holistic curriculum that:
Honors and centers each child's unique cultural background
Supports individual learning styles and developmental needs

Challenges deficit-based narratives about children and families
