Develop skills in diagnosing and resolving issues in electrical, computer, and mechanical systems common in industrial settings.
Gain expertise in navigating electrical prints and wire schematics.
Immerse yourself in different electrical circuits: 24V, 120V, 240V, and 480V, while also venturing into high voltage power distribution systems and essential components.
Explore the functionalities and repair of AC/DC motors and variable frequency drives.
Tackle real-world challenges with servo motors and encoders.
Connect with PLCs for troubleshooting and master Ethernet IP and serial communications.
Refine temperature control skills dealing with elements like thermocouples and temperature controllers.
Stay safeguarded with robust knowledge of safety circuitry such as ‘Emergency Stop’ systems.

Desirable Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an Associate degree in a related electrical discipline (AAS or AOS).
Familiar with and adherent to safety guidelines involving PPE, OSHA, and NFPA 70E.
Recommendation from an academic mentor can strengthen your application.

Core Competencies:

Competence in equipment and mechanical troubleshooting.
Proficiency in shop-related mathematical calculations.

Technological Engagement:

Gain operational experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
Diagnose and program using Allen Bradley PLCs.
Enhance skill set with servo motor technology.
